We’re pleased to introduce our new Skin Therapist, Katie to our growing team!

Katie is currently a Nurse Apprentice in Surgery, she has experience in A&E and loves the fast and exciting pace and can work well in chaos! She is qualified in multiple skin treatments.

Favourite treatment: at the moment going into Autumn is the PCA Skin retexturize pumpkin mask with the Bright & Even peel, I love to add some LED therapy too using blue light to tackle any bacteria and reduce inflammation.

Favourite skincare product: has to be the Cliniccare Concentrated Cleasing Foam wash because it’s great for sensitive skin, smells clean and is packed with active ingredients to wash the day away without causing irritation. It’s also a great price at just £20 and available to buy in clinic!

Katie’s skin: Skin has always been a big topic in my life as I suffer with hormonal acne, through knowledge, experience and specialised treatments I can now maintain my breakouts and not feel embarrassed about my skin. I would love to specialise in treatments for acne prone skin and advice as I think it affects many of us and can impact our day to day lives.

Outside of work: I’m a big foodie who loves cooking and trying new dishes, and one of my favourite things is going for winter walks, I love the cold season!

For now, appointments will remain at the home based clinic on Rowlands Crescent.
